Because the world is ending.
Most people are extremely demoralized and it is impossible to communicate with them.
The world is so wicked. Why did I get blessed and why didn’t I become one of those people? Why do I seem to be one of the only people that see it? Why does it bother me more than it bothers other people? What am I supposed to do about it?
“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.” Psalm 34
God made me a fighter. And sometimes fighting isn’t such a bad thing.
The truest statement I have ever heard in my life: “I learned the real meaning of love. Love is absolute loyalty. People fade, looks fade, but loyalty never fades. You can depend so much on certain people, you can set your watch by them. And that’s love, even if it doesn’t seem very exciting.” Sylvester Stallone Yeah I know it’s weird that the quote is from him.
Fact: People who care about me seem to be the ones that make me coffee.
“Read nothing from the past 100 years; eat no fruits from the past one thousand years; drink nothing from the past four thousand years (just wine and water); but talk to no ordinary man over forty. A man without a heroic bent starts dying at the age of thirty.” Nassim Nicholas Taleb Think about that and don’t forget it.
Be magnanimous. :)
